River the Cat needs a home
River is almost 7 and is a handsome, gentle, and friendly Korat, a breed known for its athleticism and size. While River weighs about 15 lbs., he is not in the least bit fat. He is extremely easy to handle and while not a lap cat (it’s difficult to find a lap big enough!), he adores sleeping next to his humans and on the bed. He gets along very well with his foster mom’s cat and is especially fond of his tiny little tripod foster sister and plays chase with her every morning. He gets along well with his foster mom’s gentle, respectful dog, too. He is always a gentleman and never bothers his people while they are sleeping at night: no scratching or whining at their door. River would LOVE his forever home to include another sweet, playful cat for him to engage with, which could be his foster sister Suai (a Siamese). Both River and Suai are suitable for a first time cat owner. They are that easy!
